Impact Movement Collective is a collaboration among artists using dance drama and energetic contemporary movement as a means of exploring unique perspectives on life and expressing the shared human experience. Founded by dancer/choreographer Laura Henry and with rehearsal director Aly Giampolo, the company has a unique interest in bridging the gap between literature and dance, creating work that can be appreciated by a diverse audience, and using art as a means to align themselves with charitable initiatives. Since it's establishment in 2015, Impact has performed several original works throughout NYC and helped provide scholarships to over 16 girls in underprivileged countries through benefit concerts.
Our debut concert, "Our Moment" raised $959 to help educate girls in The Gambia through She's the first a non-profit organization helping educate our next generation of global leaders.
We had so much fun!
